Good news! Our TH-350 servo pillow Vegetable packaging machine was shipped to the port of Khoms, Libya in May 2025.
Customer background
Our customer is a medium-sized vegetable supplier in northwestern Libya. During the summer of 2024, scorching heat and arid winds pushed post-harvest losses as high as 30 %. The farm owner decided to replace manual bagging with an automated Vegetable packaging machine to extend shelf life, cut waste and raise retail prices.
Selection and sample testing
The customer met Henan Top Packing at an online website and requested:
• High-speed packing.
• Nitrogen-flush option for freshness.
• Arabic-language HMI.
After comparing video samples, the servo-driven TH-350 Vegetable packaging machine proved to be a perfect fit, and a contract was signed in March 2025.
Delivery and transport
Production was completed in April. The machine was packed in a fumigated wooden case with vacuum-sealed moisture barriers, shipped from Qingdao to Khoms, and arrived intact in early May after a 28-day sea journey.
Installation and training
We sent an Arabic tutorial and arranged a remote session with an Arabic-speaking engineer:
- Leveling and belt tension adjustment.
- Photocell calibration.
- Nitrogen-flush ratio setting.
- One-hour trial run yielding 99.5 % good bags.
Three farm operators were able to change film and adjust bag length independently the same day.
Performance results
• Tomato shelf life: extended from 48 hours to 7 days.
• Cucumber weight loss: reduced from 8 % to 2 %.
• Daily throughput: raised from 1 ton to 6.8 tons.
• Retail price premium: up 15 % on average.
• Payback period: estimated at 5.5 months.

Future plans
Our customer intends to purchase an additional TH-450 Vegetable packaging machine by the end of 2025 for automated netting and pillow packing of cantaloupes, and has agreed to serve as a demonstration site for neighboring growers.
